King Park Rest Area

DAY USE ONLY REST AREA

This sealed rest area is at the base of 'The Nut', it is right beside the ocean and has no shade. The parking area only has one entrance and it is a popular place especially in the warmer months making it a bit difficult for larger caravans to park. However there is plenty of room for larger vans to park a short distance away on the grassy area. Adjacent to the park is an historic burial ground at the base of 'The Nut'.

Facilities include : Picnic tables : Barbecue : Toilets : Water : Rubbish bins provided : Children's playground : Dogs are OK : Suitable for all sized caravans.

Turn north off the Bass Highway onto the Stanley Highway. Travel 7 kilometres, turn left onto Victoria Street (signposted to The Nut), then left onto Church Street. Travel 350 metres and the parking area is on the right on the corner of Harrison Street. There is more parking area a little further on, on the right.
