Barnes Bay is on Bruny Island (B66)
Barnes Bay is on the western side of North Bruny Island tucked away in the North West Bay. It is one of the safest anchorages in the state and a good spot to picnic. Fishing is available from the jetty and McCracken's Creek is a great spot for birdwatchers. Follow Bruny Island Main Road from the ferry terminal at Rocky Point for 7 kilometres then turn left onto Missionary Road. Travel another 2 kilometres to Barnes Bay.
