Young is on Olympic Highway (A41)
Young is known as the 'Cherry Capital of Australia'. The Young Information Centre is located in the former Railway Station and to arrive at the Centre (from the north), turn right off the Olympic Highway at the first roundabout immediately after crossing over the railway line, onto Lovell Street, drive 500 metres, turn right at the roundabout and the entrance to the Centre is immediately on the right. From the south, cross over Burrangong Creek bridge, turn left at the T-intersection to stay on the Olympic Highway (signposted to Cowra), go straight through the next two roundabouts then immediately turn right after the second roundabout to the Centre. The Centre is adjacent to Anderson Park and the Big Cherry is at the entrance.
