Woolbrook is on Oxley Highway (B56)

This is a ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ village with a general store, public primary school, memorial hall, church, and a one man police station. A Weather Bureau site was opened in 1958 and is now monitored by a local family. The main industry in the area is sheep and beef cattle breeding.
