Riverside Park Rest Area

DAY USE ONLY REST AREA

This rest area runs east from the bridge right along the riverbank, a good place to go for a stroll and there are shops and café’s just across the road. There are plenty of nice big shady trees to sit under as well as gazebo’s.

Facilites include : Covered picnic tables : Barbecues : Toilets : Water : Children’s Playground : Information board : Dogs are OK : Suitable for all sized caravans.

Located at Woodburn between the Richmond River and the Pacific Highway.

Trustons Hill Rest Area

OVERNIGHT REST AREA

This sealed drive through rest area is just off the highway and can only be accessed by southbound vehicles.

Facilities include : Picnic tables : NO barbecues : Toilets – wheelchair accessible : NO water : Dogs are OK : Suitable for all sized caravans.

Located on the Pacific Highway, 3 kilometres south of Woodburn.

Beekeepers Rest Area

OVERNIGHT REST AREA

This long, sealed drive-through rest area is beside the highway and can only be accessed by southbound vehicles. There is a row of trees between the highway and the rest area but it can still be very noisy.

Facilities include : Picnic tables : NO barbecues : Toilets : NO water : Rubbish bins provided : Dogs are OK : Suitable for all sized caravans.

Located on the Pacific Highway, 28 kilometres south of Woodburn.

Mororo Rest Area

OVERNIGHT REST AREA

This is a sealed drive-through rest area parallel with the highway and can only be accessed by northbound vehicles. It is a popular spot for trucks to stop. There is no privacy from the highway with trees only on the western side of the drive-through.

Facilities include : NO picnic tables : NO barbecues : NO toilets : NO water : Rubbish bins provided : Dogs are OK : Suitable for all sized caravans.

Located on the Pacific Highway, 11 kilometres north of the Harwood Bridge (Yamba turnoff), on the northbound side of the highway.
