Valla Reserve Picnic Area

This is a large grassy area beside Back Creek in Valla Beach. It has covered picnic tables, barbecue and toilets, a fish cleaning table and a footbridge that crosses Back Creek then a track continues for 50 metres ending at a viewing platform overlooking the ocean. This is a good vantage point to see whales during their migrating season.

Turn east off the Pacific Highway where it is signposted to Valla Beach. Travel 1 kilometres then turn right onto Ocean View Drive.There is a large water tank at the turnoff to Ocean View Drive. Travel 1 kilometre then turn left to stay on Ocean View Drive. Follow this road for 250 metres then veer left onto the unsealed road which takes you to the reserve.
