Boambee Headland

This headland sits in the Boambee Creek Reserve. The headland offers beautiful views to Coffs Harbour and Mutton Bird Island. Watch out for whales in season. There is a small carpark just after turning onto the Lookout road off Sawtell Road and another carpark which is larger at the headland. At the headland lookout there are a few picnic tables and rubbish bins just past a couple of large water tanks. At the eastern end of this car park there is a walkway that heads steeply downhill. To the right you will come to a lookout over Murrays Beach. There is a wooden staircase from this lookout that takes you down to the beach. To the left , follow the paved walkway and you will end up back at the first carpark.

Turn east off the Pacific Highway onto Sawtell Road. Travel 3.5 kilometres then turn left at the Lookout sign. Almost immediately there is a carpark on the left. Continue up the hill for 400 metres and you will come to another carpark just past the watertanks.
