Picton is home to many historic buildings and also two types of bridges that are not easily found elsewhere in New South Wales. They are the 'Picton Railway Viaduct' a stone viaduct that opened in 1863 and the ‘Victoria Bridge’ a timber trestle bridge that opened in 1897, both of which cross Stonequarry Creek. The Information Centre is 10 kilometres west of the Hume Highway via Picton Road.

You can purchase your NSW Fisheries License from the Visitor Information Centre along with a range of saltwater and freshwater fishing guides, and fishing rules and regulations. The Visitor Information Centre is opened Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.
