Merimbula serves predominantly as a tourist town and is also renowned for its fresh rock oysters. To get to the Visitor Information Centre, turn east off the Princes Highway where it is signposted to Merimbula. Travel 4.5 kilometres, turn right at the T-intersection onto Market Street then take the 1st left onto Beach Street. The Centre is 50 metres on the right. There are plenty of car parking spaces near the Centre but no spaces for caravans.
