DAY USE ONLY REST AREA

This rest area is behind the Half Way Creek Service Station and can be accessed from both northbound and southbound vehicles. The area is big enough to park the largest of caravans and motorhomes as well as trucks which use it as a rest stop also. The Service Station supplies petrol, diesel, ice, bread, milk, groceries, drinks, snacks, magazines and meals.

Facilities include : NO picnic tables : NO barbecues : Flush toilets : Water : Showers - for a fee - Dogs are OK - must be on a leash at all times : Suitable for all sized caravans.

Located 19 kilometres south of the Wooli turn off (Eight Mile Lane) and 16 kilometres north of the Corindi Beach turn off (Tasman Street) on the eastern side of the highway.
