Wombeyan Caves and Campground

This large campground, 500 metres west of the Wombeyan Caves, is ideal for caravans and motor-homes. It is a very popular spot especially during school holidays so either avoid these times or book in advance. The road from Goulburn to the camping area, is sealed as it climbs a tight, winding section up the mountain side. At the top of the hill, the road reverts to unsealed but is wider and straighter. Close to the western end of the campground, the road is a reasonable standard sealed road. Contact the campground office for bookings and fee information on (02) 4843 5976

From the crossroads travel for approximately 50 kilometres then turn right onto Wombeyan Caves Road and continue for another 15 kilometres to the campground. It is well signposted from the highway. The caves can also be reached from Mittagong which is a shorter distance but is not suitable for caravans.
