Campbelltown is 60 kilometres southwest of the Central Business District of Sydney. It gets it's name from Elizabeth Campbell, the wife of the former Governor of New South Wales, Lachlan Macquarie. To get to the Campbelltown Information Cenre, turn east off the Hume Highway (from the north and south) at the Narellan Road exit. Follow Narellan Road for 2.5 kilometres, turn left onto Oxley Street and travel for 200 metres then turn left again at the roundabout onto Old Menangle Road.
