DAY USE ONLY REST AREA

This large sealed rest area has lovely shady trees along the riverbank and if you take a stroll you just might see platypus swimming around. It is well signposted on the highway.

Facilities include : Picnic tables : Fireplaces : Toilets – next to the public swimming pool : Water : Rubbish bins provided : Children's playground : Dogs are OK – must be on a leash : Suitable for all sized caravans.

Located in the township of Bombala beside the Monaro Highway.

Information Bay Rest Area

DAY USE ONLY REST AREA

This is a small drive-through rest area beside the highway with a few trees between the highway and the rest area. It is on the northbound side of the highway but can be accessed from both directions.

Facilities include : NO picnic tables : NO barbecues : NO toilet : NO water : Rubbish bins provided : Information signage : Dogs are OK : Suitable for all sized caravans.

Located on the Monaro Highway, 40 kilometres south of Bombala and 46 kilometres north of Cann River (2 kilometre north of the Victorian border and 300 metres north of the South East Forest National Park Rest Area.

South East Forest National Park Rest Area

OVERNIGHT REST AREA

This is a sealed drive-through rest area beside the highway with limited shade. It is also used by trucks. There is a rest area on both sides of the highway that are almost opposite each other so you don't need to cross over the white centre line.

Facilities include : Picnic tables : NO barbecues : NO toilet : NO water : Rubbish bins provided : Dogs are OK : Suitable for all sized caravans.

Located on the Monaro Highway, 41 kilometres south of Bombala and 45 kilometres north of Cann River (1 kilometre north of the Victorian border.
