Barraba is on Fossickers Way (B95)
Barraba lies on the banks of the Manilla River and it is a rich beef area with many top class cattle studs in the district. Barraba is surrounded by National Parks which offer many activities for you to do such as bushwalking, bird watching, fishing, camping and fossicking. The Information Centre which is just south of the intersection of Queen Street (Fossickers Way) and Maude Street (which is where the clock tower is in the centre of the roundabout), has detailed information about bird routes and fossicking sites. The Centre also houses a shearing display.
