Albury/Wodonga are twin cities with Albury lying on the northern side of the Murray River in New South Wales and Wodonga on the southern side of the Murray River in Victoria. The combined population of both of these cities is 90,000-plus. Albury is the birthplace of the champion tennis player Margaret Smith-Court who won 62 Grand Slam titles during her career.
