Along this highway you may encounter cattle trains, heavy vehicles or escorted traffic transporting large mining equipment. When encountering such vehicles on narrow roads, slow right down and move to the left of the road, keeping your right wheels on the bitumen to avoid getting bogged and obeying all police instructions. Take particular care when overtaking road trains; allow at least one kilometre of clear road ahead.
