The Mornington Peninsula is located south-east of Melbourne. It is surrounded by Port Phillip Bay to the west, Western Port to the east and Bass Strait to the south. The towns mentioned start from the western side of the Mornington Peninsula from the South Gippsland Highway- Baxter/Tooradin Road junction which is 3 kilometres west of Tooradin (on the South Gippsland Highway) to Frankston at the northern end of Port Phillip Bay in a clockwise direction.
